Kisumu County Annual Development Plan 2018/2019 The County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) is actualized through one year County Annual Development Plans and budgets. Kisumu County prepared the Annual Development Plan (CADP) for the Financial Year 2018/19 taking into account the provisions of the County Government Act, 2012 section 104 and 105. Further, Public Finance Management Act, 2012 section 126 outlines the County planning framework which provides for the preparation of the CADP. During the plan period, the implementation of development programmes as designed in the CIDP II is expected to steer the County towards sustainable development by focusing on five key thematic areas: irrigation and food security; Universal Health Care; institutional strengthening and capacity building; infrastructure development; enhanced resilience, adaptive capacity and access to clean and safe household water. The central focus of the plan is to deliver and create an accelerated and inclusive economic growth, higher living standards, improved governance, efficient public service delivery and an enabling environment for the private sector to do business.

Kisumu County Annual Development Plan 2017/2018 The PFM Act, 2012 Article 126(1) stipulates that every county government shall prepare a an annual development plan (ADP). the county government prepared the plan taking into account, the requirement of the County Government Act 2012 Article 115(1) that public participation be carried out in the county planning. The county carried out public participation in all 35 wards from 11th August t0 19th August 2016 to seek views of the residents on their priority projects as follows: - There were an average of five teams teems visiting a similar number of wards per day. In each of the teams there was a representative of the County Budget and Economic Forum. The teams were composed of officers from Finance and Planning department.
