Machakos County Annual Development Plan 2022/2023 The County Governmnet of Machakos aims to transform the County into a first world County with high quality life to all citizens in a clean and secure environment. This vision is implementated through successive Annual Development Plans (ADPs). Machakos County Annual Development Plan 2020/2021 This is the 7th Machakos County Annual Development Plan (CADP) under the devolved governance structure covering the period 2020 – 2021. The preparation process of this CADP has adhered to regulations in Section 126 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), 2012 and Article 220(2) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2012. The CADP is prepared annually as part of implementation of the five year County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), which is the guiding development blue print for the county for the period 2018 to 2022. As such, the document is aligned to international, regional, national and county development agenda that is, the SDGs, AU’s Agenda 2063, Vision 2030 and its Medium Term Plan III, the Governor’s Manifesto among others.

Machakos County Annual Development Plan 2021/2022 This is the 4th Machakos County Annual Development Plan (CADP) under the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2018-2022. Preparation of this plan is in line with the requirements of Section 126 of the Public Finance Management Act 2012 and Article 220 (2) of the Constitution of Kenya. The Annual Development Plan (2021-2022) is a one-year plan derived from the current County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2018-2022. The plan covers a broad range of social and economic development issues. These include the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Kenya Vision 2030 and its Medium-term Plan (MTP) III, the Big Four Agenda and the Governor’s manifesto 2017-2022. The plan was prepared through a multi-sector stakeholder participatory process and involved data collection from the County Government departments and other stakeholders. Machakos County Annual Development Plan 2018/2019 Chapter one highlights the County location, population, covering area, position, main economic stay and the preparation process of the ADP. Secondly, chapter two gives the achievements for 2016/17 ADP for eight sectors which are: Agriculture & Cooperative Development; Infrastructure, Energy, and ICT; Health; Public Administration, Education, Youth and social welfare; Land, environment, natural resources and sanitation; water and irrigation; Commercial, tourism and labour affairs. Further, Chapter three covers the county strategic priorities, programmes and projects while chapter four gives resources allocated to each sector.
