Marsabit County Integrated Development Plan 2013-2017 The County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) outlines the process through which efforts at national and devolved levels of government and other relevant public institutions are coordinated at the local level to bring economic, social, environmental, legal and spatial aspects of development together, to meet the needs and targets set for the benefit of local communities. The CIDP has eight chapters, as outlined below. Chapter one gives the background information on the physical, socio-economic and infrastructure information that has a bearing on the development of the county government of Marsabit. The chapter describes the county in terms of the location, size, physiographic and natural conditions, demographic profiles as well as the administrative and political units. Marsabit County Integrated Development Plan 2018-2022 The County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) is a guiding document that lays the road map that coordinates the efforts of the county government, the national government and other development partners at local level to link the economic, social, environmental, legal and spatial aspects of development in accordance with the needs and development priorities of local communities. The structure of this CIDP is prescribed by the County Government Act and comprises six chapters and an annex. Chapter one of the CIDP provides the general background to Marsabit County. It covers the overview of the county, including the socio-economic, infrastructural, ecological and environmental aspects. Along the guideline prepared by the ministry of devolution and planning.
