<title>Kericho County Integrated development plan 2013-2017</title>
<link>https://repository.kippra.or.ke/handle/123456789/3013</link>
<description>Kericho County Integrated development plan 2013-2017
The Kericho County Integrated Development Plan 2013-2017 is the first under the current&#13;
constitutional dispensation and outlines programmes and projects for implementation over the&#13;
medium term. The Plan forms a basis for resource allocation as per the requirements of Public&#13;
Finance Management (PFM) Act 2012 and will guide equitable distribution of resources throughout&#13;
the county. This Plan is a product of wide stakeholder consultation and is aligned to Kenya Vision&#13;
2030, Second Medium Term Plan 2013-2017 and Millenium Development Goals among other&#13;
national development policies.&#13;
The County government is composed of the Governor, County Executive Committee and&#13;
County Assembly. The County Executive Committee is expected to supervise the administration&#13;
and delivery of services to citizens as well as conceptualize and implement policies and county&#13;
legislation. The County Assembly on the other hand is a legislative organ and will play an oversight&#13;
role in ensuring that supportive legislation are in place for successful implementation of county&#13;
priorities as outlined in this Plan. Under my leadership, the county government will ensure effective&#13;
and efficient public service delivery and undertake aggressive resource mobilization to supplement&#13;
allocations from the national government. My government will also ensure that resources are&#13;
prudently allocated and utilized as required under the PFM Act 2012.

<title>Kericho County Integrated Development Plan 2018 -2022</title>
<link>https://repository.kippra.or.ke/handle/123456789/1068</link>
<description>Kericho County Integrated Development Plan 2018 -2022
Kericho County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2018-2022 outlines policies, programs and projects&#13;
for implementation in my second term administration aimed at continuing transforming lives of our&#13;
citizen. It succeeds the First CIDP 2013-2017 and carries forward the programs and projects that were not&#13;
completed. It also outlines flagship projects and other priority programs and projects that were identified&#13;
through a consultative process and aligned to the Governor‘s Manifesto; Kenya Vision 2030, the Third&#13;
MTP, Sustainable Development Goals, Africa Union Agenda 2063, other regional and international&#13;
cooperation frameworks and the national Government transformative agenda, ―The Big Four‖ initiatives.&#13;
During CIDP 2013-2017 period, several milestones were realized. We made commendable progress in&#13;
improving our road network where we opened up 2,417 km of rural roads and linked our villages through&#13;
construction of bridges. Our health service facilities were expanded and equipped with necessary&#13;
equipment for treatment and early detection of diseases. The Public Service Board and Department of&#13;
Public Service Management supported other departments in terms of recruitment, capacity building and&#13;
management of staff for efficient service delivery. To supplement allocation from national government,&#13;
the county implemented key strategies for increased revenue collection that grew from Kshs.351million in&#13;
FY2013/2014 to Kshs. 412 million in FY 2016/2017.Other achievements included automation of county&#13;
services, carrying out physical planning in our sub-county headquarters and towns, promotion of trade,&#13;
industrialization and cooperative movement, conservation of water, the environment among others.
