Successful implementation of the programs/projects envisaged in this Annual Development Plan will result into better delivery of services to our people while contributing immensely to the growth of the local economy. It is important to note that as a county government we have developed a county integrated development plan which is our blue print and hence no public funds shall be appropriated outside a planning framework developed by the county executive committee and approved by the county assembly. The County Integrated Development plan (CIDP) provides the foundation for the preparation of the County Annual Development Plan (CADP) which provides comprehensive baseline information on infrastructural and socio-economic characteristics of the county and will be the basis of spending and budgeting in the county for financial year 2022/2023. The plan also includes payments to be made on behalf of the county government, including details of any grants, benefits and subsidies that are to be paid; a description of significant capital developments; a detailed description of proposals with respect to the development of physical, intellectual, human and other resources of the county, including measurable indicators where those are feasible; a summary budget in the format required by regulations; and such other matters as may be required by the Constitution or the Public Finance Management Act 2012.
