Migori County Integrated Development Plan (2013-2017)

Abstract

This document is the Migori County end term review of the County Integrated Development plan. It has been prepared by the department of Economic Planning. The report reviews the progress made during the implementation of the County Integrated Development Plan on the basis of key performance indicators and targets set. It assesses the implementation of the CIDP in terms of the four pillars which form the basis of the CIDP. These are Socioeconomic growth, Infrastructural Development, Affirmative Action and Environmental Management. The relevant policies are underscored as well as achievements made, challenges encountered and significant lessons learnt prior to charting the way forward. The document provides an overall assessment of the effectiveness, sustainability, relevance and impact of the CIDP on the overall goal of poverty reduction, wealth and employment creation.
