Abstract

Following the declaration in 1989 by Kenya Bus Services Limited of its intentions to discontinue Ferry Services, the Government acquired ferry assets from the company at a total cost of Kshs.10.5 million and directed Kenya Ports Authority to take over the running of the Ferry Services.
