Abstract

A General Election is due in 1960. In the course of the coming year preparations will have to be made to ensure that it is conducted smoothly and efforts must be made to bring up-to-date and keep up-to-date the Registers of Voters. Experience has shown that there are certain defects in the existing Legislative Council Ordinance and in the Legislative Council (African Representation) Ordinance.
