Kitui District Development Plan 1984-1988

Abstract

This District Development Plan was prepared by the District Department Heads of. Ministries under the coordination of the District Development Officer and the Executive Committee of the District Development Committee. The Rural Planning Division of the Ministry of Finance and Planning provided overall guidance through seminars and formulation of Plan guidelines and was responsible for editing and publishing the plan. The Plan is divided into three sections. Chapter I provides background information on the District's resource base and the state of development. Chapter 2 spells out District policy orientations and strategies for the major development sectors.
