Abstract/
The 8th District Development Plan (DDP) for the period 2008-2012 w·as' prepared by the District Planning and Monitoring_ Unit in close collaboration with members of the various sector Working Croups (SWGs). Considerable effort was made by members of the district Sector Working Groups who produced sectors draft plans that formed the basis for this final document. The office of the District Commissioner and the District Development Committees provided overall oversight and the subsequent approval of the Plan.
