| dc.description.abstract | The 2015 Kitui County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP) is the second to be prepared by the county government of Kitui. It addresses the challenges encountered in the implementation of the previous budget as set out in the CFSP 2014. As such, this paper sets out the broad priorities of the county and highlights the programs to be implemented both in the short and medium terms in line with the set priorities. The increase in funding from the national government’s equitable share and the county’s own resources will be channeled to development. Increasing interest from private sector investors will be expected to accelerate growth prospects in the county and creating more jobs.
