Embu County Budget Review and Outlook Paper 2015

Abstract

This County Budget Review and Outlook Paper (CBROP), prepared in accordance with the Public Financial Management Act, 2012 section 118. It details the actual fiscal performance in the financial year 2014/15 compared to the budget appropriation for that year. It presents the recent economic developments and actual fiscal performance of the FY 2014/2015 and makes comparisons to the budget appropriations for the same year. It further provides updated macro-economic and financial forecasts with sufficient information to show changes from the projections outlined in the County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP) 2015. In this Paper, we will also provide an overview of how the actual performance of the FY 2014/2015 affected our compliance with the fiscal responsibility principles and the financial objectives as detailed in the 2015 CFSP.
