Abstract/ Overview
This national budget brief is among five (5) briefs which seek to identify the extent to which the needs of children are addressed by the national budget and social sector budgets in Kenya. The brief presents the macroeconomic framework for Kenya for the period 2013/14-2017/18. It covers the performance of public expenditure in Kenya with a view to analyzing the implications of macroeconomic indicators on child sensitive planning and budgeting in the country.
