Abstract

The County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP),2020 sets out the County Governments’ priority programs and reforms to be implemented in the Financial Year 2020/2021. The Nyeri County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP), 2020 has been prepared in accordance with section 117 of the Public Finance Management Act 2012. This Strategy Paper outlines the current state of the economy, setting out the macroeconomic outlook over the medium term and broad strategic priorities and policy goals, with a summary of county spending plans that will guide the preparation of the budget for the Financial Year 2020/2021. This publication is intended to enhance understanding of County’s public finances and hence guide public debate on economic planning and budgeting matters
