    Abstract/Overview

    The Report of the Civil Service Review Committee appointed by His Excellency the President on 2nd October, 1979, under the Chairmanship of Mr. S. N. Waruhiu was presented to His Excellency the President, on 12th September, 1980. The terms of reference given to the Civil Service Review Committee by His Excellency the President reflect two principal concerns —the integrity of the public service should be impeccable and its members should be adequately rewarded so that the quality of their work is unquestioned. The Committee has dealt with these issues analytically and constructively.
