West Pokot County Fiscal Strategy Paper 2020

Abstract

The County Fiscal Strategy Paper is prepared in accordance with section 117(1) of the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, 2012.The paper outlines the broad strategic priorities and policy goals, provides linkage with the national objectives in the Budget Policy Statement, and provides the financial outlook with respect to county government revenues and spending plans for the Financial Year 2020/2021 and the medium term. The document is expected to improve the public’s understanding of County’s public finances and guide public debate on economic and development matters.
