Abstract/ Overview
The Knowledge Management Policy for Kenya provides for a multi-pronged approach towards _achieving a knowledge-based economy as highlighted in the Kenya Vision 2030. The Policy aims at building platforms for knowledge management by encouraging co-operation among knowledge generating institutions and development agencies. The Policy see)s.s to identify and bring together local knowledge and expertise on various developmental challenges; link primary knowledge generators and applied research institutions in Kenya, the African continent and beyond; and to increase the ability to mobilize and deploy knowledge for the successful social and economic transformation of the country.
