Abstract/ Overview
The 2020 Annual President’s Report is the 8th on the measures taken and progress achieved in the realisation of national values and principles of governance in conformity with the Constitution. This is pursuant to the provisions of Article 132(1)(c)(i)(ii) which requires H.E. the President to report once every year in an address to the nation on all measures taken and the progress achieved in the realisation of national values and principles of governance. The Report comprises of five chapters that outline the measures taken and progress achieved by the Government in the promotion of national values and principles of governance in the public sector. The measures and progress are in the context of key projects, programmes, activities as well as policies, legal, institutional and administrative actions taken by MCDAs in compliance with Article 10 of the Constitution.
