Migori County Annual Development Plan 2018/2019

Abstract

This is the third CountyAnnual Development Plan for Migori County under the new constitution that heralded the new governance structures of devolved governments. The CountyAnnual Development Plan sets out the background and broad development agenda for the 2018/19 budget and the County Medium-Term Plan that is consistent with the County Government strategies and policies. As articulated in Article 126 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, this plan has captured the achievements that were made in 2015/16 and the priority areas to be achieved in 2018/19. It has provided a description of how the County Government is going to raise revenue towards meeting its obligations in the period under review and the programmes and projects to be delivered. This will therefore form the base for monitoring and evaluation for the County in the next one year and provides a mechanism for linking the County and national planning processes with the Medium Term Expenditure Framework budgetary system.
