Taita Taveta County Annual Development Plan 2019/2020

Abstract

The objective of the 2019/2020 Annual Development Plan is to lay the basis for the County Government’s budgeting process for FY 2019/2020 by setting its medium term priorities. This CADP provides details of the County Government’s programmes, setting out the major capital projects to be undertaken, goods and services to be acquired, performance indicators, and budgets, under each programme. These priorities have been drawn from the County Intergrated Development (CIDP)-2018-2022 and alighned to the objectives of the Kenya Vision 2030. The Governor’s manifesto has also informed the proposed strategies and programmes. This Plan is divided into two chapters as follows: Chapter One: This provides a brief background of the County in terms of its area, administrative divisions, main physical features, and settlement patterns. It also provides summary data essential for making informed development planning decisions. Chapter Two: The chapter sets out departmental priorities, strategies, programmes and projects proposed for the FY 2019/2020.
