Meru County Annual Development Plan 2015/2016

Abstract

Preparation of an Annual Development plan is a statutory requirement of the PFMA act which inter-alia lays emphasis on the County Integrated Development Plan as the overall guide in the budget making process and that each County is expected to prepare on Annual Development Plan (ADP) which derived from the CIDP. The Annual Development Plan 2015/16 details the development Projects and Programmes to be implemented by departments within the County in the Financial year. The implementation of the plan is expected to move the County towards its vision of a united and prosperous green model county. The Plan is also expected to move the county towards realisation of the national vision 2030 and the millennium development goals. The Annual Development Plan is in three chapters. Chapter one captures the County General information which provides basic information of the County such as location of the County, political and administrative units and population of the County.
