dc.description.abstractThe 2024 County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP), presents the broad strategic priorities and policy goals and reforms that will guide the County government in preparing its budget for FY 2024/2025 and the medium term. The 2024 CFSP will be the second to be prepared under the current regime pnont1ze the implementation of the programmes and sub-programmes proposed by various sectors and stakeholders. The County will endeavor to implement projects and programmes in line with Vision 2030, the national objectives stipulated in the Budget Policy Statement (BPS) and its Medium-Term Plan (MTP) IV, the CIDP 2023-2027, H.E the Governor's manifesto and feedback from the Public as highlighted in the 2024 Annual Development Plan. The Kenyan economy is demonstrating resilience with growth performance well above the global and Sub-Saharan Africa average. In the first half of 2023/24 the economic growth averaged 5.4% (5.5% in QI and 5.4% in Q2). This growth was primarily underpinned by a rebound in the Agricultural activities and continued resilience of service sectors. All economic sectors recorded economic growth in the first half of FY 2023 though the magnitude varied across activities.en
