Tana River County Approved budget Estimates 2020/2021

Abstract

The 2020/2021 budget estimates were prepared in accordance to the provisions of the Kenya's constitution,2010 and the Public Financial Management Act (2012) which dictate that all matters of public finance should be done in a transparent and open manner. the estimates were also prepared in a consultative and participatory way. it involved sector based discussions and budget reviews across all departments of the county government. There have been consultations from constitutional offices and agencies such as commission of Revenue Allocation, The National Treasury and the senate especially in complying with both revenue and expenditure ceilings................
