dc.description.abstractThe articles in this edition focus on Kenya’s recent economic developments; leveraging global value chains to enhance industrialization in Kenya; human vaccine production in Kenya and leveraging industrialization for economic growth and job creation across the counties. This Edition highlights various activities undertaken by the Institute in the fourth quarter. Among the key activities are capacity building including the executive public policy making process for the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC), various capacity building programmes for the Central Project Planning and Monitoring Directorate; and the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities and TVETs (KMPUTs) in Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST), and the National Youth Service (NYS), Engineering School. Additionally, the Institute undertook a validation of research papers by the 2023/2024 Cohort of the Young Professionals (YPs) under the theme “The future of industrialization in Kenya: Leveraging on the 4th industrial revolution”.en
