Baringo County Fiscal Strategy Paper 2015/2016

Abstract

This is the second County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP) to be tabled in the County Assembly in accordance with the requirements of Public Financial Management Act, 2012, section 117. It presents broad fiscal policy and reform measures underpinning the Budget for FY 2015/16 and the medium-term. . It also outlines the broad strategic developmental issues and fiscal framework, together with a summary of county government spending plans, as a basis of 2015/16 budget and the medium- term. The policy paper is informed by the Baringo County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), the Vision 2030, the governor's manifesto, feedback from members of the public and National Government policies as outlined in the 2015 Budget Policy Statement (BPS).
