The CIDP clearly depicts the county vision which is ‘A Prosperous, Industrialized and Cohesive County’achieved through the mission whereby the county will enhance sustainable socio-economic growth and optimal utilization of resources. The focus for the CIDP is anchored on theme as clearly derived from the Governor’s manifesto ‘Transforming Tharaka Nithi: Unlocking the Great Potential.’ The County actors have deeply-held commitments and shared understanding that inform every policy and programme and steer every action summarized as ICT2: Integrity, Inclusiveness, Citizen-focussed, Creativity & Innovativeness, Transparency & Accountability and Teamwork.
