Tharaka Nithi County ICT Policy 2023

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become the backbone of day-to-day operations in all organizations. The County Government of Tharaka Nithi is not an exception. While the management of Tharaka Nithi County Government recognizes this fact, organizations all over the world are faced with the challenges of ICT security and establishment of acceptable use of ICT as well as legal compliance. This document therefore aims to assist the County Government of Tharaka Nithi in the management of Information Technology. Information Technology is a very dynamic sector and new technologies are being developed every minute of everyday life. It is therefore imperative the County develops the ICT policy to help in managing Information Technology trends, the policy should focus on the mandate and the strategic Plan of the County.
