Murang'a County Integrated Development Plan 2013-2017

Abstract

The realization of the first Murang’a County Integrated Development Plan was made possible by through the involvement and support of many individuals and organizations. We would like to appreciate the role played by these individuals and institutions. I would like to greatly appreciate our governor, H.E. Mwangi Wa Iria for his financial and moral support for the process. We are also grateful to the members of the County Executive Committee, Heads and staff of various county and national governments departments, community groups and the private sector for providing information and ideas on programmes and projects in various sectors. We also appreciate the Kenya School of Government consultants, Mr. Samuel Macharia and Mr. Alex Mirara for their technical advice and guidance on the process. Finally, we would also like to thank the Speaker of the County Assembly, the Clerk and entire Members of the County Assembly for actively participating in forums which enriched the document significantly.
