dc.description.abstractThe 2023 County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP) is prepared against a background of global economic slowdown occasioned by ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, elevated global inflation, and the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change related supply chain disruptions. This has necessitated the county to focus on recovering its economy over the medium term. It will therefore implement strategic priorities targeting to actualize its medium term theme “Strengthening Economic Recovery for a Transformed and Sustainable Kajiado”. This theme will be achieved through implementation of county thematic area: Modulated Pastoralism targeting rural Kajiado; Livable Towns for urban and peri-urban Kajiado; and Climate Proofed Environment.en
