| dc.description.abstract | This is the second County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP) by Murang’a County Government. The first CFSP gave an overview of our strategic priorities in the medium term. It analyzed the existing state of affairs in the county and articulated on programmes to be undertaken to overcome the existing challenges. We outlined five pillars that when fully attended to, will significantly transform our local economy and improve the quality of life of our constituents. The journey has not been without challenges but concerted efforts by various stakeholders have seen us make notable strides toward our desired vision. This paper will lay bare the many undertakings and programmes that we believe take us closer to a full realization of the benefits of devolution as envisaged by the Constitution of Kenya,2010. It’s my earnest appeal to Murang’a stakeholder to continue supporting our efforts to catapult this County to levels that only we believe in.
