dc.description.abstractThis County Development Plan Provides a summary of proposed priority programmes and projects for implementation during the financial year 2015/16 by the county government whose outcome will drive the county government towards the realization of the overall development objective of poverty reduction, youth employment and wealth creation. The preparation of this plan took a lot of effort and I wish to acknowledge those who contributed towards its preparation and finalization. I would wish to first and foremost thank His Excellency P.S. Khaemba the Governor of Trans Nzoia County, His Excellency Dr. Stanely Tarus the Deputy Governor Trans Nzoia County and all the Members of the Executive Government of Trans Nzoia for the invaluable contributions and support towards the preparation of the plan.en
