Meru County Annual Development Plan 2016/2017

Abstract

Preparation of an Annual Development plan is a statutory requirement of the PFMA act which inter-alia lays emphasis on the County Integrated Development Plan as the overall guide in the budget making process and that each County is expected to prepare on Annual Development Plan (ADP) which derived from the CIDP. The Annual Development Plan 2016/2017 details the development Projects and Programmes to be implemented by departments within the County in the Financial year. The implementation of the plan is expected to move the County towards its vision of a united prosperous green model County. The Plan is also expected to move the county towards realisation of the national vision 2030 and the millennium/ sustainable development goals
