Kajiado County Programme Based Budget 2021/2022

Abstract

Since its inception and implementation in 2010 the County Government of Kajiado has consistently adhered to statutory obligations dictated by Kenya’s laws and principles. Specifically, section 12 of the second schedule of the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, 2012 provides guidance on the preparation and submission of annual budgets by counties. The entire process is further guided by budget calendar which gives dates for preparation of various planning and budgeting documents. As such, this 2021/2022 FY Budget Estimates has incorporated the inputs, recommendations and resolutions of the diverse planning and budgeting documents.
