Kisumu City County Annual Development Plan 2017/2018

Abstract

The PFM Act, 2012 Article 126(1) stipulates that every county government shall prepare a an annual development plan (ADP). the county government prepared the plan taking into account, the requirement of the County Government Act 2012 Article 115(1) that public participation be carried out in the county planning. The county carried out public participation in all 35 wards from 11th August t0 19th August 2016 to seek views of the residents on their priority projects as follows: - There were an average of five teams teems visiting a similar number of wards per day. In each of the teams there was a representative of the County Budget and Economic Forum. The teams were composed of officers from Finance and Planning department.
