| dc.description.abstract | The Taita District Development Plan is derived from the First Medium Term Plan (2008- 2009). The Medium-Term Plan contains national policies and strategies. programmes and projects for implementing the first five years of Vision 2030. Vision 2030 is anchored on the three pillars; economic, social and political. Taita District is one of the 13 districts in Coast Province covering an area of 16.482.9 km2• The district is composed of six divisions namely. Voi. Mwat;te. Wundanyi, Tausa. Mwambirwa and Nyangala. and these are further sub-divided into 22 locations and 67 sub locations. | en_US |
