The Financial Year (FY) 2016/2017 Annual Development Plan (ADP) is the second in a series of successive one year medium term plans which will implement the Kisii County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2013/2014-2017/2018. It will implement Programmes identified under CIDP 2013/2014-2017/2018 which realizes the Kenya Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals. The County has put down strong solid foundation upon which to strengthen the journey of building a prosperous County for all its residents. This can only be achieved through the adoption of a growth strategy based in Programmes that generate employment most rapidly, and provide more income-generating opportunities for the poor. To achieve the expected economic growth, create impact in the county and realize the County vision of prosperity for all, a set of five County Strategic Priorities have been identified; namely: i. Infrastructure Development; ii. Health Care; iii. Water Reticulation and Environment Preservation; iv. Social Protection v. Economic Development
