| dc.description.abstract | This County Annual Development Plan is the first phase in the preparation of the County budget estimates for the FY 2023/24 and is the foundation for the Budgeting as provided for in the Public Finance Management Act, 2012. The County Annual Development Plan (CADP) was prepared according to the requirements of the existing legislations and policy documents that include the PFM Act 2012, and the Constitution of Kenya 2010. The plan has been aligned to the County’s medium term development blue print- the 3rd generation CIDP, the Kenya Vision 2030 and its third Medium Term Plan, the big four agenda, and international Commitments like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The plan provides a short term road map of key priority programs for implementation during the coming financial year 2023/2024 in fulfilment of the county government’s obligations to the people of Trans Nzoia. | en |
