dc.description.abstract | Today the variation in the designs of ships and the modifications in the structures of existing ones are a common feature in the shipping industry. This Convention seeks to strengthen the terms of the Accommodation of Crews Convention No. 92 (Revised) 1949, by laying down the minimum standard requirements for the accommodation and provision of facilities for crews on board of all whaling, cargo and passenger ships between 200 and 1,000 tons.
