Abstract/ Overview
The Minister for Agriculture appointed a single Commissioner Mr. C. Nevile, in April 1956, to undertake an enquiry into the Kenya Meat Industry with the following terms of reference: To investigate and report to the Minister for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Water Resources on the organization of the Kenya Meat Industry from producer to consumer including export in respect of cattle and small stock from both European and Africa areas and excluding pigs and poultry. Mr. Nevile submitted his Report to the Minister in August, 1956, and this Report was published without Government comment…
