Abstract/ Overview
The Ngong Road and Dagoretti excisions together with one further but separate excision of 290 acres from the Dagoretti Forest Reserve which is to be added to the Kikuyu Native Land Unit in exchange for a 248 acre enclave of Native Land adjoining Muguga Forest known as the Nderi enclave. The Kikuyu inhabitants of the enclave live at present under very unfavourable conditions which include lack of grazing and water. The exchange was approved by the Native Lands Trust Board on 31st July,1958. and by the Highlands Board on 23rd October, I958. In order to adjust the boundaries of the Highlands to provide for these amendments it is necessary to amend the Seventh Schedule to the Crown Lands Ordinance as follows…
