Abstract/ Overview
Recognizing the need to ensure that the Governments existing and future plans for dealing with unemployment are soundly based the Government has prior to, during and since the period of Mr. Dalgleish's work, been making its own study analysis of the unemployment problem. This paper is given to setting out the results of this work. It is thought right to present in some detail the Government's analysis of the problem in that it will be used as a general guide in formulating action against unemployment. It is also right to record that Mr. Dalgleish's helpful investigation and conclusions have been taken fully into account in the Government's analysis as have discussions in the Advisory Committee on Unemployment...
