dc.description.abstract | Part VI of the education Ordinance, 19529 provides for the establishment of Boards of Governors for Government Schools, and by the "Boards of Governors for Government Schools Order9 1958 published as Legal Notice No. 541 of 1958, Boards were established for twelve African secondary schools and six African teacher training colleges. These Boards are now assuming responsibility for the day to day financial control hitherto by the Director of Education, and it is accordingly necessary that the stores and equipment held by the schools should c0asc to be· accounted for Government stores and should become the property of the Boards of Governors to whom, therefore, it is
