7th Annual Report 2019 on Measures Taken and Progress Achieved in The Realization of National Values and Principles of Governance

Abstract

The 2019 Annual President’s Report is the 7th on the Measures Taken and Progress Achieved in the Realisation of National Values and Principles of Governance in conformity with the Constitution. This is pursuant to the requirements of Article 132(1)(c)(i)(ii) which requires H.E. the President to report once every year in an address to the nation on all measures taken and the progress achieved in the realisation of national values and principles of governance. The Report comprises of five chapters that illustrate the measures taken and progress achieved by Government in the implementation of projects, programmes and activities to enhance the promotion of national values and principles of governance in the public sector. The measures and progress are in the context of policy, legal, institutional and administrative actions taken by MCDAs in compliance with Article 10 of the Constitution
