Abstract

This C-BROP is the fourth to be issued reflecting on the performance of the County Government of Tharaka Nithi since onset of devolution. The paper establishes the fiscal performance of the county government in FY 2016/17, recent economic developments that affected the performance and the possible implications of the performance and updated outlook. The comparison provided in this document shall provide reasonable observations on significant changes in the forecasted performance of the county, in comparison to the actual performance during FY 2015/16.
