Kenya Vision 2030's Social Pillar aims to create a fair, democratic society, with education and training serving as the main catalyst. The Constitution of Kenya 2010 guarantees basic education for all children and obligates the state to progressively provide it. The education sector has reviewed its policies, legal framework, and carried out institutional reforms to enhance education quality and relevance. The sector's second medium-term plan prioritizes free basic education, enhancing education quality and relevance, ICT integration, improving governance, post-basic education, and financing. The plan's flagship projects include infrastructure improvement, teacher recruitment, ICT integration, curriculum review and reform, and establishing new schools and universities. The implementation matrix outlines each program's goals, objectives, expected outputs, performance indicators, implementing agencies, timeframe, and resource requirements.en_US
