In the course of the coming year preparations will have to be made to ensure that it is conducted smoothly and efforts must be made to bring up-to-date and keep up-to-date the Registers of Voters. Experience has shown that there are certain defects in the existing Legislative Council Ordinance and in the Legislative Council (African Representation) Ordinance.
