Abstract/ Overview
In order to promote the objectives of the Community under Article 5 of the Treaty and in accordance with the provisions of this Protocol, the Partner States hereby establish a Monetary Union. The objective of the Monetary Union shall be to promote and maintain monetary and financial stability aimed at facilitating economic integration to attain sustainable growth and development of the Community.
