dc.description.abstractThis Sessional Paper has four objects: To seek the approval of the Legislative Council to certain amendments to the development plan covering the three and a half years 1st January, 1954, to 30th June, 1957, described in Sessional Paper No. 51 of 1955; To inform the Legislative Council of the decisions taken by the Government as regards spending priorities in the fiscal year 1955-56; To report on the progress so far in the implementation of the development plan and to review the financial position.en
