dc.description.abstract | The County Health Monitoring and Evaluation Plan is a significant step in a series of interventions aimed at strengthening the M&E capacity of the Samburu County Health Sector. The County Government of Samburu underscores the crucial role of a robust M&E system in generating useful information for decision making, measuring performance and fostering learning. The M&E plan will facilitate the application of a harmonized approach in tracking performance across all the health programs within the county health sector and ensure that the programs contribute to the overall desired results articulated in the strategic plan and the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP). The County Government envisages that M&E will be integrated into the daily work of the county staff as well as other stakeholders. In this way, M&E systems will enable generation and sharing of data and information, thus promoting greater accountability and continuous learning | en |
