Kisumu City County Annual Development plan 2019/2020

Abstract

The County government of Kisumu prepared the Annual Development Plan (CADP) for the Financial Year 2019/20 in accordance with the provisions of the County Government Act, 2012 and the Public Finance Management Act, 2012. During the plan period, the implementation of development programmes as designed in the CIDP II is expected to steer the County towards sustainable development by focusing on five key thematic areas: irrigation and food security; Universal Health Care; institutional strengthening and capacity building; infrastructure development; enhanced resilience, adaptive capacity and access to clean and safe household water. The central focus of the plan is to deliver and create an accelerated and inclusive economic growth, higher living standards, improved governance, efficient public service delivery and an enabling environment for the private sector to do business.
